BATTING STATISTICS 

In this edition of the IPL season 8 there were quite a lot of surprises with some of the brilliant performances by the players. Some of these performances included names like ,

1] DAVID WARNER - Highest Run Scorer [ Orange Cap ] 



    David Warner the captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad bagged the prestigious orange cap of     IPL 2015 as he became the highest run scorer of IPL 8 despite his team not making it to the       playoffs. The aggressive left handed batsmen played some mind blowing knocks which was       amazing to watch .He scored 562 runs in 14 innings on a consistent basis thus making him 
    a worthy winner of the orange cap.



 2] CHRIS GAYLE - Maximum Sixes


     Chris Gayle bagged an award in the IPL season 8 for hitting the maximum sixes in  
      tournament as compared to another player. He has hit a maximum of 38 sixes in the                     tournament.The big man from the Caribbean was at his best and he has single - handedly           won matches for his franchise that is the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The man from the           West Indies is also a good catcher and a handy off-spinner which is a very good asset                 to any team he plays.





  3] AB de VILLIERS - Highest Individual Score



      Another man from the Royal Challengers Bangalore  who was really fun watching was the             South African captain AB de Villers. A delightfully brutual batsman who was in a very good          form from the start of the season and who played a very good hand in helping the Royal             Challengers Bangalore qualify for the playoffs won the award for scoring the highest                      individual score in the IPL which was a score of 159 from 59 deliveries against the Mumbai        Indians.

   4] ANDRE RUSSEL- Highest Strike Rate



       Andre Russel become another cricketer from the Caribbean to win an award for maintain a        a good and  a healthy strike rate of 192.89.His performances with the bat was really 
       really amazing to watch the way he would strike the ball.He was also a valuable asset to the 
       Kolkata Knight Riders team although his team did not make it to the playoffs, but he was 
       fun to watch.
